Products inherent sounds connected to size, shape, and materials of the product, the product interacting with different surfaces, the mechanical and electrical components that make the product work. They all make sounds and become part of the soundscape that surrounds us. The project explores how different sounds can be applied to products in order to influence the way we experience and interact with them. What if the products were designed with artificial sounds? How would this influence our experience of them? How can sound make products easier and more fun to interact with?
